Alton House Hotel - Alton (Hampshire)

The location was marvellous and easy, for example, Alton Assembly Rooms Event Venue was not too far from the hotel. I got a luxurious and immaculate room with clean towels, a very comfortable bed Excellent choice, for instance.

i thoroughly enjoyed comfortable decor of the king room. i had coffee, an iron, and an air conditioning in it. ideal and comfortable location usefully near the railway station, met every demand.

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of goodies. Its location was central, 400 metres from Palace Cinema.

The staff - some of them were quite busy.

Every visit to Alton we like to stay here. The hotel offers delicious and great breakfast with mass produced hash browns, hot beverages and also toast. The room is big and huge and essentials you need, including climate control and openable French windows, is right there.

Ample free parking, friendly welcoming staff, the superior double room was very spacious, I had to call reception because the room had some other persons toe nail and hair on the carpet, this was rectified within 10 mins and I would recommend this hotel.

The units are elegant, bright.

The room was very comfortable, I've slept in other four poster beds but this one was far more comfortable. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff very friendly and helpful. The en-suit was compact but the shower was exceptional with good water flow. I particularly liked the full english breakfast and the fact the breakfast times were later at the weekend than the week which ment you could have a lie in. All in all hotel was lovely and in the ideal location for where we needed to be.

The helpfulness of the hotel staff in general and in particularly in response to my forgetting to pack my medication. It was a warm hotel on perhaps one of the coldest nights of the year.

The room was spacious and clean, with tv and electric kettle. Breakfast offered a great variety, including freshly baked pastries. The super nice team, arranged a taxi for us when we missed the bus. Enjoyed the inviting outdoor garden space for a relaxing evening. A pleasant stay!

to noisey and not worth the money

Was very impressed by the service, extra towels arrived within minutes and breakfast was served with a smile. A very annoying dripping tap in the bathroom was repaired the same day, amazing and a peaceful nights sleep!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfy with good amenities like tea/coffee and the tv. Breakfast was tasty with a good buffet selection. The location was spot on, really close to everything! They even packed our breakfast for us when our plans changed.

the shower took forever to get warm and the parking situation could be better with a limited number of spots available.
